TheSkinCare.Report is an independent skincare research platform that evaluates products using published clinical evidence, ingredient analysis, and formulation quality — not sponsorship dollars or brand relationships.
What We Do
We score skincare products using ExplainScore™, a transparent methodology that weighs peer-reviewed research, active ingredient concentrations, formulation design, and known irritant profiles. Every score is deterministic: the same product inputs always produce the same result.
Our platform includes:
- Product pages with evidence-based scoring and transparent retailer pricing
- Ingredient intelligence linking actives to published research
- Utility comparison views for deterministic side-by-side checks when needed
- Editorial guides covering skincare fundamentals and category deep-dives
Editorial Independence
Affiliate commissions fund this site. They never influence which products appear, how they score, or what we recommend. Our scoring algorithm has no input for “pays us more.” Read our Affiliate Disclosure for the full details.
Who Runs This
TheSkinCare.Report is operated by Dillon Halderson. Product evaluations are generated through a combination of structured evidence analysis and editorial review. We do not fabricate test results, and we do not publish content we cannot substantiate.
